How to setup ScopeLink into D.A (direct access) mode
First you will have to download the following APP. after proceeding the following steps
Download Skyportal App for mobile (Android / iOS)
On the ScopeLink device, switch into D.A (direct access) position
Plug Scopelink into your AUX port of Celestron mount and turn it ON
Open your mobile WiFi settings,
Looking for ScopeLink WiFi device and click on it to connect.
Open the Skyportal App and click the icon "Connect"
When succefully connect, will apear on App screen 4 buttons (Left/Right and Up/Down)
Done ! its ready to move your mount.
How to setup ScopLink into A.P (access point) mode
First keep connected into D.A (direct access) position
1. Make sure the mount is connected, by moving the scope pressing any direction buttons on APP.
2. Below click on icon "Settings"
3. Tap option "Communication"
4. Click "Configure Access Point"
5. Enter your Wifi "name" and password.
6. Once filled in, click "Send Configuration to WiFi module"
7. If your Wifi and Password is correct, will apear below message.
8. Now select "Use access point" and click "Done"
9. Now on ScopeLink, move the switch to A.P "access point"
10. The ScopeLink now will automatic connect into your local wiFi Router, when the switch is in A.P mode.
Your Mobile connected to the same local router will find the ScopeLink.
Just open Skyportal App and click "Connect"
Remark 1: The power range of WiFi from ScopeLink is about 35 meter, without obstacle.
Remark 2: If your ScopeLink version include LCD display, it will show your local IP adress when connected by A.P access point.
